Mammogram Access Project (M.A.P.)
Mammogram Access Project (M.A.P.)
The Mammogram Access Project (M.A.P.) brings free and low-cost mammography services directly into the community through our mobile screening unit.
In partnership with the Women’s Center for Radiology, we help remove barriers to care by providing convenient access to mammograms, follow-up services, and breast health resources for underserved and uninsured individuals throughout Central Florida.
Who We Serve
Underserved and uninsured individuals throughout Central Florida.
What We Provide
Free and low-cost mobile mammograms and follow-up breast health services.
Our Impact
Expanding access to early detection by bringing care directly into the community.
Bringing Life-Saving Screenings Closer to Home
The Mammogram Access Project was created to make breast health services more accessible for individuals who may face challenges related to cost, transportation, or availability of care.
Through our mobile mammography unit, we bring screening services directly to communities, workplaces, churches, and events throughout Central Florida, helping more individuals receive the care they need when they need it most.
- Early detection can save lives.
Meeting Women Where They Are
Access to care should never depend on where someone lives, their income, or their ability to travel. The Mammogram Access Project helps bridge those gaps by bringing services directly into the communities we serve.
By partnering with local organizations, employers, healthcare providers, and community leaders, we are able to reach more individuals and increase access to life-saving screenings across Central Florida.
